HIV or HUMAN IMMUNODEFICIENCY VIRUS

A sexually transmitted virus that attacks and damages the body’s immune system and can lead to AIDS. It can be spread through contact with infected blood, semen, or vaginal fluids. Fortunately, a medication known as PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) can prevent the spread of HIV, especially in the most vulnerable population of men who have sex with men. Unfortunately, not many men who are in this vulnerable population use PrEP, which is insane, because it is essentially playing roulette with another guy’s penis. See AIDS and PrEP
